Weekend in Banff

We had a pretty busy weekend, Tracy had a scrapbooking event on Saturday so me and the girls cleaned the house, and then went and visited Michelle and her family for a little while. Caitlyn starting crawling on Friday so we also had to put the baby gate up, she loves being mobile and she is all over the place now.

On Sunday was our Wards Primary presentation, so mom and dad came out watch Lexi, it was really cute.

After Church mom agreed to stay at our house for a couple of days, and Tracy and I took off for Banff. Since Tuesday was a holiday (Remembrance Day) I took Monday off and we spent two nights up there. We stayed at the Tunnel Mountain Resort which was really nice, it had an in room gas fireplace, heated tile floors, steam shower and a jetted tub. We decided to take a trip up the Banff Gondola which is something that we haven't done before, the weather was great and it was fun, I've included a picture from the top of the mountain.

Halloween 2008

Well Halloween was a big hit, the weather was perfect for trick-or-treating. We really didn't take Caitlyn out as she was a little freaked out about the costumes, but I took Lexi out and we were out for about 2 hours, at which point her bag was full and I had to convenience her that it was time to go home. She did really good and had lots of fun, now she wants to know when it's Halloween time again.

Such a Slacker!

Well at the risk of stating the obvious I suck at the blogging thing, for some reason I just can't remember to ever update this thing.

Anyway, Lexi had her last swimming class yesterday and she passed, which was really cool as we weren't too impressed with the instructor, and weren't really sure Lexi had learned enough to pass the class, so it was a nice surprise. I've included one of her underwater pics here. So, now that swimming is done Lexi just has soccer to worry about, she likes it for the most part, and is starting to get the hang of it too.

Caitlyn is doing great, she sits up on her own now and scoots all over the hardwood floors, she keeps threatening to crawl but it hasn't happened yet.

Tracy and I are doing good, trying to keep up with the kids and Church responsibilities. I'm the cub leader in our ward and we have 12 cubs in our pack, it's fun but a lot of work at the same time. Tracy is on the activities comittee, and just finished the Halloween dance and is now gearing up for the Christmas party.

Growing Up

We Took Lexi to get her ears pierced on Saturday, since her baby sister Caitlyn got her's done Lexi has wanted earings as well. I guess she didn't realize there would be a little pain with new bling!

New Ride

I finally fulfilled one of my life time dreams to buy a motorcycle.. I've actually had the bike for two months now and I love it.
